Brian founded Upstate Business Advisors to give owners one place to bring the financial questions that usually get split across an accountant, a banker, and a planner: taxes, the monthly numbers, and the larger decisions about buying, selling, or stepping back.
He has spent seventeen years working with privately-held business owners on tax planning and preparation, fractional CFO engagements, buy-side diligence, sell-side preparation, and succession planning. The past eight of those years have been here in Upstate South Carolina, where he now works from offices in Simpsonville and Spartanburg.
How clients work with him. Brian is the advisor on every engagement and the person you meet with, in person or by video. Scope, deliverables, and fees are agreed in writing before work starts, and he coordinates with your existing accountant, banker, attorney, or wealth advisor where that helps.
Brian lives in the Upstate with his wife and kids.
